Training Buddy Purpose:

  • Find training partner for weekly training.

  • Find training partner for occasional proofing, in situations where it is necessary to have your dog get used to many new people.

  • Form a training group in your area.

  • Introduce your dog to new training sites and people.

  • Find someone who is willing to give you their time for proofing, putting out articles/gloves/cookies and call patterns etc.

Training Buddy Guidelines:

  • Plan on an agreed amount of time (ex. 30 minutes each) that each of you are willing to devote to the other for help in training.

  • Do not expect a private lesson from your buddy.

  • Be prepared with a plan so that you can tell your buddy what you need and what you would like for them to do.

  • Since some of us only know each other by face instead of name, feel free to e-mail a photo to include with your listing.

  • At this time, this list is only for ADOG students.

 I would really like to train in a group occasionally to work on sits and downs. People are welcome to come to my place to train on nice days. I have jumps and lots of room. We can train in my yard or in the street which is a dead end. Plus there is a nature center a mile and a half from my house with lots of open space. Dogs must be on lead there.
