| Julie was great. Her techniques were ones we
could all relate to and she seems to have had a lot of the same
problems we've all had. I liked having small groups on the floor at
a time. Everyone had a chance to work their dog. The other attendees
were all fun. Everything went smoothly. ~ Anonymous |

I thought the Seminar was GREAT and I could "relate"
to so many of the "Issue's" that Julie has had with her Pointers ~
Esp. since I have German Shorthair Pointers. I learned So Much in
such a short time - I "for sure" will be using A LOT of her training
techniques. I was also impressed with just how "organized" the
Seminar was ~ the Food was also a Plus!!!!
Everyone Did a Great Job and I am so Thankful that I was able to
attend - Thank you so much :-) ~ A Bauman |

I thought the workshop
was one of the most useful I've been to. She has a low key teaching
style that is very approachable. The content was good for all levels
of dogs and trainers. I was really pleased.
My only complaint was
not with Julie, but with one of the participants, who felt the need
to hog Julie's time with commentary on the participant's own
experiences, advice and notes from other people's workshops. It was
rude and used up limited workshop time that could have been better
spent on issues of more general interest. ~ Anonymous |

The Julie Hill seminar
was excellent. Julie was engaging and relatable. As a novice (who
has never competed) with green dogs, I was not sure I was ready to
attend this type of working session. But, to the contrary, I walked
away with alternative approaches to training issues I had been
experiencing in addition to a great amount of core content to work
with. And, because I have a very soft dog, I was pleased that Julie
had a very quiet, soft-handed training style that incorporated a ton
of play and motivational techniques.
The event was
extremely well organized. The structure of smaller working groups
with the occasional all-hands-on-deck approach worked very well. And
it was a great opportunity to meet a lot of new folks. Everyone was
so fun! ~ B Brunot |

I learned a lot and am still trying to process it
all. By the last day I got overwhelmed by all the work on utility
exercises (we are just starting some open exercises). I wonder if
future seminars can be limited to "basic" or "advanced"
participants? ~ Anonymous |

I have not attended many seminars, but had heard that
Julie's seminars were very informative, so I decided to try hers. I
thought it was wonderful, and got so many ideas that it was hard to
process them all. I love her positive training style, and low-key
approach. And yet she is flexible enough to be willing to try
other's ideas. If I could achieve only one of her goals, and have a
happy dog in the ring, I would be forever grateful. I look forward
to learning to make my training sessions more fun by teaching tricks
and playing. I tend to be all business. And thanks to those who
organized it. It went so seamlessly that it seemed effortless.
