JULIE HILL WORKSHOP DETAILS

WORKSHOP HOURS:

  • 9:00am to 5:00pm -- Saturday (ADOG will open at 7:30am for check-in and set-up)

  • 8:00am to 4:00pm -- Sunday ( ADOG will open at 7:00am)

SET-UP:

  • The front row will be for the working spot chairs. Please set up your dog's crate directly behind your chair. This will allow for a faster transition of getting your dog out and ready. You will be assigned a number at check-in and this will be your number/group for the working section of the seminar. Please be ready to get on the floor when it's your group.

  • Auditor seating will be behind the working spot's dogs. If space allows you may move forward. Auditor crating against the wall.

AUDITORS -- IMPORTANT:

  • For those with an auditing spot, we feel we will have crating room if you would like to bring your dog. You may try the things you see demonstrated at the Workshop during the breaks and at lunch.

BRING WITH YOU:

  • Chair

  • A floor mat to go under your crate (no crates directly on green matting)

  • Our building is heated, but if you tend to get cold you should bring a throw

  • Lots of different kinds of treats and toys

MULTIPLE DOGS

  • You may bring multiple dogs to the workshop; however, only one dog can work on a specific exercise (example: broad jump, pick the dog that needs it the most and the other dog will sit it out). 

REMEMBER:

  • Be on time

  • Keep conversations to a minimum while Julie is speaking

  • Clean up after your dog

  • Ask questions and enjoy yourself for what is sure to be a great workshop.

FOOD:

  • ADOG will provide a light breakfast, morning coffee and afternoon snacks.

  • Drinks will be available to purchase.

  • Lunch – there are a number of fast food restaurants close to ADOG

  • The best place to get directions to ADOG from your home is from the "Directions" page of our web site.

REFUNDS:

  • We understand that plans change and are happy to issue refunds PRIOR to 9/1/09; however, these refunds are subject to a $15.00 service charge. There are no refunds after 9/1/09. Entries are non-transferable.
